Let's see...do I really want to write a review?
Good question. How can I review an event that I didn't even get a chance to see?
Yeah I was there...hence all the pix...but I was busy meeting and greeting and didn't have time to watch. Let me see if I can clarify. Marsha and I got to Manhattan at 7:40pm...show start at 7:30...(US) time...not yaad time. But yu nuh know...why rush? We were good, until we tried to find a parking space in a lot. That in itself is a near impossibility on a Saturday night in NYC.

Ok...so after an hour of driving down crowded one way streets...we FINALLY found a parking space in a lot, that with five inch heels on seemed like it was as far from Radio City as Brooklyn is from Manhattan. Mi toe dem mek mi bawl fi mercy pon the tuff concrete. (Is a terrible ting when yu try fi play like yu cute)... Anyhow...with the soles of my feet on fire, we rolled up into the sold out Radio City. We had missed Morgan Heritage, Marcia Griffiths, Sasha, Luciano, Lady Saw and somebody else. Anyhow, we went downstairs to the VIP area, and Tonto Metro and Devonte were busy greeting the press, along with Luciano, Morgan Heritage etc etc etc... We had to watch the show from monitors that were in the big azz room...but I had no time for that. I had two cameras and I intended to use them...

I do remember looking up and seeing Shaggy on stage with Rik Rok...then it seems like as soon as they appeared, they were outta there. Wha dat...one song??? The sound system didn't sound too right either... Shaggy had on flip flops and yu nuh know...me and my camera nuh have no manners...suh mi tek im foot...what nice feet you have mi love!!!

I caught a glimpse of Beenie Man a mash up the place...and I do remember Elephant caught my attention briefly with the big red clown wig. Im nice it up to... TOK get the C+ best dressed props...TOK nuff respect. They sounded soooooo sweet, and when they came down to us...they were courteous and full a style. Gwaan TOK, unno bad buh rahtid!!!

Luciano gets the 'humble' props from mi. He hung around all night and I just adore that man. Tanya Stephens and Christine Hewitt...nuff nuff love. I love those two women...dem nuh ramp fi speak dem mind.

Assassin looked like a real assassin decked out in all black. He has to get a special C+ shout out for being such a sweetheart. He gave mad love to the press, and im lip dem look nice, suh....yu dun know.

Queen Marcia Griffiths...what can I say. Royalty inna the place. Lady Saw...big big big up to you. Marsha and Lady Saw...we need another collaboration from you ladies...

Maxi, Beres and Wayne performed also. I have no photos of them. They never made it down to our area. Seems like time run out and Radio City neva ramp fi ready fi put wi out.

The big boo fi the night haffi go to Wyclef. Yes Wyclef...you same one. Mi nuh remember Clef selling the amount of records Shaggy sell, or is even as internationally well known. He ain't no Luciano, and Marcia Griffiths is/was the Queen inna Radio City that night. Sooooo, how come Wyclef was the only artist that found it necessary to have five big, black, burly bredda in front of the podium or whatever you want fi call it, in the press area where we were, to keep the 'crowd' back. This big fool a tell the photographers in front to 'BACK UP' pon the top of him voice. Im couldn't tell me that, cause mi nuh glad fi Wyclef suh mi neva position myself fi tek nuh picture. BUT...anyhow I was at the front, and one a dem overHYPE bredda deh say that to me...memba man...ole house pop dung inna dat. Trust!!!

If you go back and check this same 'Events' link...'Top Shotta Party'...you will see how much picture Wyclef pose fa fi mi da night deh at Amazura. I don't know wha fly inna im head now. I HATE HYPE...I HATE HYPE ARTIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Check unno self man...humble unno self. VP 25 years...some a dem never even know bout the first 23. BACK OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had passes for the after party at Roseland but we didn't feel like going. Good thing we didn't...the same HYPE gwaan over there also. Lennox Lewis a wha dat man??? What a way everybody act like dem a STAR???

Well...due to how nuh guy or gal nuh more than me...I nah watch nuh face.

Big up to the MEDIA who actually MAKES these peeps STARS!!! Pat yu backs...CV Crew, Dancehall World, Whatz Up TV, FLAME, TimePlus Beats, The Roof...C+ etc etc etc...
